“Gilded Bestiary” is a collaborative project between Aunia Kahn and M de Vena that embraces the natural world with the mythical realm. Each painting and drawing conveys a journey into the symbolism and internal poetic omniverse within ourselves.
Through this collaborative narrative, each artist presents their own vision referencing the fantastical and metaphysical tone of the Bestiary: a compendium of creatures mythical or otherwise. Wherein lies the animal, spiritual, and celestial elements within us all that mirror the sacred worlds of the known and unknown through the symbolic language of animals and iconographic influenced imagery.
