Lucy Brydon is a Scottish Artist known for her colourful paintings in Gouache with a nature based slant and design aesthetic.
She also works with mono printing and gellplate printing techniques on occasion.
Influences include art nouveau pattern and design with twists of William Morris sometimes showing up to lend to the timeless feel with an up to minute palette using jewel like gouache paints.
When Lucy is not creating for a busy calendar of events around Scotland she is also teaching via Lucy's Art Lab online and her popular Castle Art Retreats with US Artist Karen Duvel Campbell have manifested this aspect into a real life Scottish Faerie Tale. The duo also run a fun podcast called One Scot- One Not on You Tube where they explore Scottish Faerie Lore and Legend together. It is both educational and light hearted.
We hope you enjoy the beautiful selection of works Lucy has created for the gallery.
