William Inverarity (Click for more information)
William is a mostly self taught artist from Aberdeen who attended many classes at Grays School of Art and Aberdeen College throughout his working life.
William is now retired and painting full time. He is Influenced by the Impressionists and Colourists mainly and his work is recognisable by it's thick layers of oil on board or canvas and the use of a palette knife predominantly, sometimes using papier-mâché to build and play with texture in his landscapes.
William has been accepted on several occasions for juried exhibits at Aberdeen Art Gallery and The Meffan.
Being the only real traditionalist painter in our rosta, we have helped curate a beautiful set of atmospheric works to compliment our mostly fantastical leanings.
We hope you enjoy them.
