Flower Face, Flower Face
Formed with love and gentle grace
To give Lleu a wife to wed, fragrant with oak, meadowsweet and broom.
Born in the bright soaked light, a dewy maiden new and sun ripe with yellow hair and blush.
Flower Face, Flower Face
Don’t you know that petals fall as fast as they grow, left unattended and head turned.
And so…
My love Gronw and I decided Lleu must die.

Flower Face, Flower Face
It was not to be so
They cast me out into the night, a ghosted wing in the dark where no flowers grow
As Day turns to Night I own the inky spaces they gave me to roam
Shunned by some, my vision is sharp here. Forgotten by many, my voice is shrill
There is no light without the dark I said.
Hold onto it all you like but the night comes just the same I said and the seasons turn to winter once again.
You freed what you could never own
And still I watch with Flower Face, a part of only your disgrace
