Felidae
Kristen Egan – US
Medium: Gourd, wood, paper clay, horsehair, acrylics & metal leaf
Art Size: 30.5cm H x 18cm W x 10cm D (12 x 7 x 4 inches)

“Felidae” is modelled after an Iberian Lynx, a relative of the elusive bobcats who live in the area around my studio, and a new design for me.
Made from a gourd and paper clay, it features carved wooden ears and tufts of horsehair.
