Lepus Albus – White Hare
Stuart Gallagher – Wales, UK
Paper clay sculpture (mixed media finishes)
Size: 24 cm (H) x 11 cm (W) x 13 cm (D)

This handmade hare sculpture is created from paper and wood clay with mixed media finishes.

Inspired by the Solstice and the changing rhythms of light, Lepus Albus carries a quiet poise—alert, graceful, and still.
Its form is smooth and stylised, with soft detailing around the chest and face, carrying a quiet, elevated calm in midsummer’s magic.

The upright pose suggests attentiveness and clarity—like a moment caught between dusk and dawn.
