My interpretation of the Moon Tarot card.
I didn’t follow the traditional Marseille or Rider-Waite iconography of the card but rather wanted to convey the feeling and the mood I associate with The Moon: dreams, illusions and the subconscious, the divine feminine, cycles, and an illuminated yet deceptive twilight where things are not as they seem.
I added the hare because when I think of moon mythology, legends of the lunar rabbit or hare often come to my mind.
It also symbolizes the wild instinctive aspect of the subconscious.
The fish in the clouds symbolize the Pisces zodiac sign, which is associated with the Moon tarot card.
